The Rab Microlight Vest offers compact core warmth as a light outer layer or part of a mountain layering system. A recycled 30D Pertex Quantum shell is windproof and breathable, with a DWR finish, while recycled 700FP down provides insulation beneath a recycled 20D nylon lining.
Zoned micro and nano baffles hold the down in place without restricting movement. The Nikwax hydrophobic treatment helps preserve loft in damp conditions and speeds drying, but the down is not waterproof.
The slim shape fits neatly under a shell. Dual hem drawcords help keep draughts out, and YKK reverse-coil zips finish the front opening and three secure pockets, including two harness-compatible handwarmer pockets.
